SigNoz
Give the Sazabi agent tools to query metrics, logs, traces, alerts, and dashboards while investigating production issues.

About
This is an MCP connector that gives the Sazabi agent tools from SigNoz's MCP server. SigNoz authenticates with a SigNoz API key: Sazabi stores your key securely and sends it as the SIGNOZ-API-KEY header. The default server URL targets SigNoz Cloud's US region (https://mcp.us.signoz.cloud/mcp); self-hosted setups point at their own instance. Write tools (creating alerts, notification channels, and dashboards) are governed by the per-connection read-only toggle.
What the agent can do:
- List and query metrics, and discover field keys and values
- Search traces and surface top metrics
- Inspect alerts and notification channels
- Create alerts, notification channels, and dashboards (subject to the read-only toggle)
Prerequisites
- A SigNoz account (Cloud or self-hosted)
- A SigNoz API key (admin-level for alert, dashboard, and notification-channel tools)
Set up in the dashboard
Configure connectors in the dashboard under Settings > MCP connectors.
Open the connector
Find SigNoz in Settings > MCP connectors.
Add your key
In SigNoz, go to Settings > API Keys and create or copy an API key. For SigNoz Cloud, use the regional MCP endpoint for your account (for example https://mcp.us.signoz.cloud/mcp). For self-hosted SigNoz, use your instance's MCP endpoint. Sazabi sends your key as the SIGNOZ-API-KEY header. You can find more details in the SigNoz MCP server docs.
Set up with the CLI
SigNoz authenticates with a SigNoz API key. With the Sazabi CLI installed and authenticated (see sazabi mcp-connectors reference), connect it in one command, passing each credential as a header:
sazabi mcp-connectors connect signoz --header SIGNOZ-API-KEY=<api-key> --header X-SigNoz-URL=<signoz-url>The CLI connects to the MCP server at once and prints the connection with the tools it discovered; a credential the server rejects is reported, and the connection is left needing attention. Use NAME=@<file> to read a value from a file, or --header-file <file.json> for a JSON object of header names and values. To rotate the stored credentials later, use sazabi mcp-connectors update-credentials <connection-id>; find the connection ID with sazabi mcp-connectors list.
Verify
Open the connector's connection page under Settings > MCP connectors and confirm Sazabi lists the tools it discovered. Then, in a thread, ask the agent to use one of those tools and confirm it runs. If no tools appear, confirm the API key is correct and the server URL matches your SigNoz instance.
Troubleshooting
No tools discovered — Confirm the API key is valid and the server URL points at your SigNoz instance. Re-enter both from Settings > MCP connectors.
Connection shows needs attention — The authorization or key may have expired or been revoked; reconnect from Settings > MCP connectors.
