CLI

Install and authenticate the Sazabi CLI, then look up every command, subcommand, and flag.

The Sazabi CLI (sazabi) drives the platform from a terminal and from scripts. Every command below is generated from the CLI's command registry, so this reference always matches the installed binary.

Get started

Paste this into your coding agent to have it set up Sazabi:

Set up Sazabi: run `npx -y @sazabi/cli start` and follow what it prints.

Or run it yourself in a terminal:

npx @sazabi/cli start

No install needed. It prints how to sign in and the first step. After each step, run npx @sazabi/cli onboarding start for the next one, until it says onboarding is complete.

If Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Gemini is installed, it also prints the one command that hands setup to that agent:

npx @sazabi/cli start --agent claude

Install

Keep the CLI around for everyday use. Install it globally with your package manager; for most environments, use npm:

npm install -g @sazabi/cli

Confirm the install:

sazabi --version

Authenticate

Sign in with the browser device flow. This opens a browser, approves the device, and stores a credential for the active profile:

sazabi auth sign-in

Confirm the identity, organization, and project the CLI resolved:

sazabi auth whoami

Running without a browser

CI, scripts, and headless agents can skip sazabi auth sign-in. Set SAZABI_TOKEN to a secret key, or pass the key with --token on each command, and set SAZABI_PROJECT_ID to the project's ID. Create the key at Settings > Secret keys or, while signed in, with sazabi secret-keys create "<name>". Commands then run with no sign-in:

export SAZABI_TOKEN="<your secret key>"
export SAZABI_PROJECT_ID="<project-id>"
sazabi log-sources list

A secret key belongs to an organization that already exists, so creating an organization (sazabi organizations create) and subscribing to a plan (sazabi billing plans subscribe) still need a signed-in person. Keep the key in a secrets manager and never commit it.

Organization and project context

Most commands run against the active project. Set the active organization and project once; later commands use them until you change them:

sazabi organizations use # Choose the active organization
sazabi projects use # Choose the active project

Every command accepts --json for machine-readable output.
